The brief was to create a logo and initial label design for a sustainable and traditionally sourced honey which would be sold in health food stores across the UK.
A fun, playful approach was agreed for the design, being quite a departure from standard on shelf honey brands. A bespoke illustration was commissioned to demonstrate the diverse wildlife and eco system that thrive in the traditionally managed hay meadows of Transylvania in Romania.
With the view for range extensions from different parts of Eastern Europe, where the traditional farming method is still practised, a unique tamper seal with a cross stitch pattern (unique to Romania) was devised for on shelf differentiation. Each future Honey would bear cross stitch designs for its respective country.
Print sourcing, label trialling and advice on accredited logo usage, along with food labelling requirements was also provided.
Client Feedback
“Out of all the responses that I received on Bark, Marisa at Aim creative stood out. Immediately, it was clear she understood what I needed and took the time to give me a detailed breakdown of how she could help me achieve my objective. This gave me the confidence I needed to trust her with the product development. Marisa was able to dissect the brand backstory accurately and used her experience to create a logo and product packaging that was fit for purpose and that far surpassed my expectations. I fully recommend Marisa and will be using her services in the future.”
